Acknowledgement of Risks
I acknowledge that participating in the dance conference involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, falls, and contact with other participants. I understand that these risks cannot be eliminated entirely. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the dance conference, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Djeli Dance and its associates, stakeholders, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that I may have for any injury or damage arising from my participation in the event, including those caused by the negligence of the released parties.
Medical Consent
I authorize Djeli Dance to obtain emergency medical treatment from authorized emergency personnel for me in the event of an injury or medical emergency, and I assume all risks and costs associated with such treatment.
Governing Law
This waiver and release shall be governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Permission to Use Media
I grant Djeli Dance and its representatives the right to take photographs, videos, and other media of me during the dance conference at all the associated locations (F.J. Harquail Cultural Grounds, Intergenerational Hub).
Use of Media
I understand that these images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, and other marketing materials.
No Compensation
I acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation for the use of my likeness or performance in any of the media.
Release of Claims
I release Djeli Dance from any claims, demands, or liabilities that may arise regarding the use of my media.
Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this waiver and release, understand and agree to its terms, and sign it freely and voluntarily.
